What is the meaning of the epithet "al-Mujtaba" for our master al-Hasan ibn Ali, and why was he given this title?

The description "al-Jatabi" for Al-Hasan ibn Ali has not been reported in the books of the scholars. It is probable that it is a scribal error and what was intended was "al-Mujtaba," which means the chosen or the elect. Although this description has not appeared in the books of the Sunnis, Al-Hasan ibn Ali is one of the masters of the youth of Paradise and holds a high status.
