Is it permissible to be named 'Abd al-Muhsin?

The name "Al-Muhsin" (The Doer of Good/The Benefactor) is one of Allah Almighty's established names in the authentic Sunnah. Therefore, it is permissible to be named "Abd Al-Muhsin" (Servant of the Benefactor). Among the hadiths that indicate the establishment of this name is: "Indeed, Allah is Muhsin (Good-Doer), so do good." A group of scholarly verifiers, including Sheikh Al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah and his student Ibn Al-Qayyim, and among contemporary scholars, Sheikhs Ibn Baz and Ibn Uthaymeen, have affirmed this name for Allah Almighty.
