Is it permissible to supplicate during Qiyam al-Layl that a specific young man becomes my husband, even though it is known that he is engaged and cannot break off his engagement?

The young man must be cut off and repentance made for what has passed, and caution exercised against falling in love. There is no harm in supplicating that the young man be her destined partner, as long as it does not lead to corruption such as severing family ties or his rejection of another fiancée when it is not possible to combine them, for this contradicts the perfection of faith and sincere advice to a Muslim.
