Parents hold a great status, especially the mother, due to the immense nature of her rights and the hardship she endured during pregnancy, childbirth, and breastfeeding. Therefore, it is impermissible to disobey or abandon them, even if they commit injustice; rather, one must treat them with kindness. The harm inflicted by the mother upon her children and grandchildren is an unusual matter whose cause should be identified. If there is a reason, it should be addressed. If there is no reason, she should be dealt with gently and advised kindly, and the help of some close relatives should be sought. As for the siblings, you should advise them and remind them of kinship ties. If they respond, then that is well and good. Otherwise, it is permissible to abandon them, while considering the benefit.
