Are "full-breasted, equal in age" the women of this world or the Houris? And does "limiting their gazes" mean that the women of Paradise will see no men other than their husbands? And will there be hijab in Paradise?
Al-Kawāʿib al-Atrāb are the women of Paradise from among the people of this world, whom Allah will create anew after they were old, as stated in His Almighty saying: "Indeed, We have produced them in a [new] production. And made them virgins, devoted [to their husbands] and of equal age, for the companions of the right." And the saying of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him: "Indeed, We have produced them in a new production; they were old women in this world, dim-sighted and rheumy-eyed." And his saying to an old woman: "Indeed, Paradise will not be entered by an old woman," then he informed her that she would not enter it while she was old. As for Qāṣirāt al-Ṭarf, they are the women of Paradise who do not see anything better in their eyes than their husbands, so they restrict their gaze to them and do not desire anyone else. And the hijab and other obligations pertain to this world, the abode of trial, while the Hereafter is the abode of recompense, with no obligations therein.
