What is the ruling on a working woman wearing a colorful hijab, light makeup, and trousers under a long coat or apron in a mixed-gender environment?

Mixing (of genders) includes what is forbidden and what is permissible, and the criterion for each is mentioned in Fatwa No. 57635. The lawful attire for a woman has specific characteristics; if these are met in any garment, it is permissible to wear it, otherwise not. This is explained in Fatwa No. 33125. As for wearing trousers, it is permissible if there is something above them that conceals them from the sight of non-mahram men; otherwise, it is not permissible, as clarified in Fatwa No. 46765. As for makeup, it is not permissible to use it when leaving the house, whether it is light or not light, as mentioned in Fatwa No. 42225.
