How did the Children of Israel ask for what the earth grows while they were in the desert? And why did the Quran attribute the killing of prophets to them, even though no prophets were sent to them after Moses?

The Quran is the true and authentic word of Allah. There is no alteration or distortion in it, and it is not permissible to contradict it with what is claimed to exist in the Torah and the Gospel, because what is in the hands of the People of the Book has been corrupted, and Allah has testified to that. The most obvious evidence of this distortion is the abominations they attributed to the prophets. The Quran is preserved by Allah's protection of it and its continuous transmission from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, who received it from Jibreel, who received it from Allah. Therefore, no deficiency or omission can affect it. Consequently, it is obligatory to believe in what Allah has revealed in the Quran and the authentic Sunnah.
