What is the ruling on a transgender person, who has transitioned from male to female, praying in the women's rows in the mosque?

If she was originally female, possessing feminine characteristics like a uterus and ovaries, and underwent surgery to enhance some visible feminine traits, then she is treated as a female. Thus, she must observe hijab in front of non-mahram men and pray with women. However, if he was originally male with feminine psychological tendencies, and underwent surgery to accentuate some feminine appearances, he remains male and is treated as such. He cannot mix with women or pray with them. Feminine emotions can be treated psychologically, and he can undergo surgery to remove feminine manifestations if it does not result in harm. It is advisable to treat him gently and wisely, guiding him kindly, while being cautious of any off-putting approach that might lead him to apostatize from Islam, especially since he is new to Islam.
