What is the ruling on a wife initiating the most detestable of lawful acts (divorce) on condition that it is after her husband has delegated the matter to her, and does this delegation become void through sexual intercourse, or by her saying: "I revoke the delegation, authorization, choice, ownership, and agency, and I revoke any authority to initiate the most detestable of lawful acts"?

If a man delegates the power of divorce to his wife, her suspension of it is invalid. The delegation becomes void if the wife rejects it, or if the husband has intercourse with her, or if she was not aware of it. It is advised not to succumb to obsessive thoughts, and not to preoccupy oneself with reading fatwas and their details, as this feeds such obsessions.
