Is it permissible to publicize the marriage of a man to his daughter born of zina, based on a jurisprudential opinion within the Shafi'i school of thought that permits a father to marry his daughter born of zina?

Adultery is among the most heinous sins, and a pregnancy resulting from it is not attributed to the adulterer. The majority of scholars view marriage between a man and his daughter from adultery as forbidden, and this is the correct view. Sheikh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah was asked about this and he replied by prohibiting marriage to her, adding that whoever does so may be killed. If you married a woman born of adultery, not believing the marriage to be valid but rather following your whims, then your marriage is void, and you must separate from her and repent. However, if you followed the Shafi'i school of thought with conviction, there is no harm. Announcing a marriage is recommended, and documenting it in this era has become an urgent necessity.
