1- What is the ruling on one who prostrates and places his hands before his knees? 2- What is the ruling on one who forges his birth certificate to benefit from financial compensation?

The basic principle is that forgery is generally impermissible. This includes forging birth certificates and identification documents, due to the corruption and loss of rights that result from it. It is not permissible to undertake it except if two conditions are met:

1. The person must be in a state of compelling necessity or a need equivalent to it, such that they have a right that cannot be attained without these documents.

2. The forging of these documents must not harm another person or cause a greater corruption.

If both conditions are met, then forgery is permissible to the extent that it removes the necessity and lifts the hardship. Otherwise, it is not permissible. A Muslim is cautious concerning their religion, abandons what is doubtful or suspicious, and stays away from dubious matters.
