Is money earned from reciting the Quran for a fee for the souls of the deceased permissible, and is it permissible to use it to perform the Hajj?

Reciting the Quran is one of the best deeds, and one is rewarded with good deeds for it. The Holy Quran has shown that those who recite the Book of Allah, establish prayer, and spend [in charity] hope for a trade that will never perish. It is not permissible to take a wage for reciting the Quran, because it is an act of worship and an act of drawing closer [to Allah], and taking a wage for acts of worship is not permissible. Whoever reads the Quran for a wage will not have any reward with Allah Almighty. Reciting the Quran for the souls of the deceased is an innovation for which there is no evidence, and it is not permissible to turn Quran recitation into a profession for earning a livelihood. One must repent from this act, and it is not permissible to perform Hajj with money earned in this manner.
