What is the difference between pointing to evil and cooperating in evil?

Indicating evil means guiding someone to what is not permissible by Sharia, such as pointing out places of haram. Cooperating in evil is assisting the perpetrator of a sin in committing it by any means, such as participating in murder or theft. Both are haram (forbidden), based on the Almighty's saying: "And cooperate in righteousness and piety, but do not cooperate in sin and aggression," and the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "Whoever calls to misguidance will have sin upon him like the sins of those who follow him."
