How accurate is what was stated in the widely circulated article regarding the punishment for adultery with a married woman, and that whoever commits adultery with a married woman will bear, along with her, half the torment of this nation, and that the cuckold husband will be denied Paradise, and the punishment for whoever lays a hand on a woman unlawful to him, and what will result from that on the Day of Judgment, such as the testimony of limbs and the wrath of Allah the Almighty?

This statement is not a hadith; rather, it is an author's words resembling the speech of preachers and storytellers, and it is found in unverified books.

1. First sentence: "Whoever commits adultery with a married woman, there will be upon her and him in the grave half the torment of this Ummah. Then, on the Day of Resurrection…" This phrasing has no origin. Something similar has been reported with the wording: "Any woman who betrays her husband in bed, upon her is half the torment of this Ummah" (weak). There are authentic hadiths that emphasize the severity of one who introduces a child not belonging to a people, such as: "Any woman who brings someone who does not belong to a people, she has nothing from Allah, and Allah will not admit her into His Paradise." Adultery with a married woman is a greater sin, especially with a neighbor's wife, as the Prophet, peace be upon him, said: "That you commit adultery with your neighbor's wife," and "He is not one of us who incites a woman against her husband."

2. Second sentence: "Then, on the Day of Resurrection, Allah, the Exalted, will make her husband judge over his good deeds." This punishment is mentioned for those who betray a mujahid (fighter) regarding his family, as the Prophet, peace be upon him, said: "There is no man among the sedentary who takes the place of a mujahid regarding his family and then betrays him among them, except that he will be brought to account on the Day of Resurrection, and [the mujahid] will take from his deeds whatever he wishes." This punishment is specific to this type of adultery and cannot be generalized without proof.

3. Third sentence: "Because Allah Almighty has written on the gate of Paradise: 'You are forbidden to the dayyuth (cuckold/one who has no jealousy over his womenfolk).'" This phrasing has no origin, but the punishment for the dayyuth is confirmed by their exclusion from Paradise, as the Prophet, peace be upon him, said: "Three will not enter Paradise… and the dayyuth."

4. Fourth sentence: "Whoever places his hand on a woman unlawful to him with lust, will come on the Day of Resurrection with his hand shackled to his neck, and if he kisses her, his lips will be cut off in the Fire." This has no origin. However, the prohibition of touching a woman is confirmed by the Prophet's saying, peace be upon him: "That one of you be stabbed in his head with an iron needle is better for him than that he touches a woman who is not lawful for him."

5. Fifth sentence: "And if he commits adultery with her, her thigh will speak and testify against him on the Day of Resurrection, saying: 'I was used for the unlawful.'" This has no origin in this context. The testimony of body parts is confirmed by the Quran and authentic Sunnah, as Allah, the Exalted, says: (Their hearing, their eyes, and their skins will testify against them concerning what they used to do) [Quran 41:20], and as the Prophet, peace be upon him, said: "His mouth will be sealed, and it will be said to his thigh, his flesh, and his bones: 'Speak!'"

It is necessary to verify before attributing anything to the Prophet, peace be upon him, for the Quran and the authentic Sunnah are sufficient.
