The answer

If the matter is minor and does not cause the husband aversion or harm, then there is no obligation to inform him. However, if it might cause him aversion, or if it leads to a state of impurity that can only be remedied after marriage, then it is obligatory to inform him. If treatment is possible before marriage, then there is no obligation to inform. The Permanent Committee has issued a stating that if the problem is temporary and will pass, then there is no need to inform; but if it is significant and not temporary, then her guardian must inform the suitor about it. We recommend supplication and shar'iyyah (Islamic exorcism/healing).
