Is it permissible to trade in selling hairdressing supplies and other accompanying cosmetics?

Women justify the use of cosmetics with the aim of appearing more beautiful, but there are medical warnings about their harm to facial nerves and skin, and some of them may contain prohibited substances. Sheikh Ibn Baz mentioned the permissibility of using cosmetics if they do not cause harm, and Sheikh Ibn Uthaymeen agreed with him on that.

It must be noted that the ruling on selling these cosmetics may differ if they are used for tabarruj (displaying one's adornments), because that is considered assisting in sin, and thus it is forbidden to sell and buy them if the use is prohibited. However, if they are free from harm and used in a permissible manner, then it is permissible to sell and buy them.
