It is permissible to sell cosmetics and adornments if they are not impure or do not contain any impure substances. If the adornments and their tools are items placed in homes or cars, they must be free of figurines with religious connotations and images of living beings. As for selling materials that have pictures of immodestly dressed women, if these pictures are on disposable wrappers, then this is a widespread affliction. However, if the captivating images of women are intended for their own sake, then it is not permissible to trade in them, as this is considered spreading evil and vice and inciting desires. Allah Almighty says: "Indeed, those who like that immorality should be spread among those who have believed will have a painful punishment in this world and the Hereafter..."
