If the deceased has no heirs other than those mentioned (the wife, daughters, and full sisters), the inheritance is divided as follows: The daughters receive two-thirds, based on the Almighty's saying: "But if there are [only] daughters, two or more, for them is two thirds of what he left." The wife receives one-eighth due to the presence of a descendant heir, based on the Almighty's saying: "But if you have a child, then for them is an eighth of what you leave." What remains after the share of the daughters and the wife goes to the full sisters by way of ta'sib (residuary heirship), because they, along with the daughters, descend to the position of the 'asabah (residuary heir). The original denominator for the inheritance is 24, and it is corrected to 72.
