The heirs of the deceased woman are: the husband, the father, the mother, and the children (males and females). The paternal grandfather, paternal grandmother, and siblings do not inherit.

The distribution of the inheritance is as follows: - The husband receives one-fourth due to the presence of a child, as stated in the Almighty's words: "But if they have a child, then for you is one fourth of what they leave." - For the parents (mother and father), each receives one-sixth due to the presence of a child, as stated in the Almighty's words: "And for his parents, each of them will have one sixth of what he leaves if he has a child." - What remains after the shares of the husband and parents is for the children by ta'sib (residuary heirship), to be divided among them "for the male, what is equal to the share of two females." - The paternal grandfather, paternal grandmother, and siblings receive nothing due to the presence of those who are closer in relation to the deceased.
