Is there a relationship between the monotheistic dimension and the ethical dimension?

There is a close connection between the doctrine of monotheism (Tawhid) and ethics. The ethical system in Islam stems from its creedal conception. The monotheist monitors God in his actions and adheres to good morals because he knows that God is with him through His knowledge, hearing, and sight, and that He rewards the doer of good and punishes the evildoer.
