Is it permissible to marry solely with the intention of having children, while rejecting marital and sexual relations? And is this type of marriage considered lawful or unlawful?

The Sharia encourages marriage, which is the guidance of the Prophets and Messengers, and it contains many benefits. Marriage may be obligatory, and rejecting the desire for it is strange and contrary to human nature and the prophetic guidance. It is advisable to turn to Allah and seek psychological counseling. Procreation is a great purpose of marriage, and the original method for it is intercourse. Artificial insemination should only be resorted to out of necessity and under specific conditions. It is not permissible to stipulate abstinence from intercourse in the marriage contract, and it is recommended to seek Allah's help to dispel these obsessions.
