Is it permissible for a menstruating woman to visit the deceased and kiss them, whether they are relatives or not?

The menstruating woman should prioritize abundant supplication and seeking forgiveness for the deceased, and it is better for her to refrain from approaching and kissing the deceased. Jurists have explicitly stated that it is disliked for a menstruating woman, a ritually impure person (junub), or a washer of the deceased to be in close proximity to the deceased, due to the hadith: "Angels do not enter a house in which there is a ritually impure person (junub)." The ruling on touching the deceased differs for the questioner: if the deceased is female, there is no difference in the ruling between relatives and non-relatives. If the deceased is a male relative (mahram), he is like other mahrams, provided there is no suspicion. However, if the deceased is a non-mahram (ajnabi), he must be treated as such.
