Which takes precedence for achieving success in exams: Qiyam al-Layl (night vigil prayer) or Salatul Hajah (prayer of need)? And which of them is more likely to be answered and yield greater reward? Does the supplication during Qiyam al-Layl include psychological and physical matters, such as changing eye color or increasing height? And are such supplications answered?

Combining the night vigil (Qiyam (definition) al-Layl) with the Prayer of Need (Salat al-Hajah (definition)) is more complete, and there is no contradiction between them. If one wishes to limit oneself to only one of them, then Qiyam al-Layl is more virtuous due to its greater merit, especially in the last third of the night.

A servant may ask Allah Almighty for all their needs, both in worldly matters and in the Hereafter, as long as it does not involve aggression in supplication, sin, or severing ties of kinship. However, supplicating for a change in eye color is considered aggression in supplication, which is forbidden.
