Is the wife considered disobedient if she requests divorce after her husband asked her to remove her hijab for work and refused to compromise on his demand?

A wife is not obligated to work outside the home, and her maintenance is incumbent upon the husband. It is not permissible for the husband to force her to work, especially if it involves a violation of Sharia, such as removing the hijab, for there is no obedience to a creature in disobedience to the Creator. The husband must repent for saying about the hijab, "there is no benefit in it," as it is from the law of Allah. And whoever mocks the law of Allah commits disbelief, according to the Almighty's saying: "Say, 'Is it Allah and His verses and His Messenger that you were mocking?' Make no excuse; you have disbelieved after your belief." It is not permissible for the wife to expel the husband or obey him in sin, and seeking divorce is not a sin if the husband insists on his decision. If he is mocking religion and its rulings, then by that he exits the fold of Islam.
