Is it permissible to build a house for a blind mosque imam from zakat funds, knowing that he does not own a house and his salary comes from the mosque's society fund?

It is permissible to give money from Zakat to a poor person who is unable to build a dwelling, so that he may build a house with it, because housing is among the essential needs. It is stipulated that the poor person's wealth or earnings are insufficient for his basic needs, without extravagance or miserliness. The Zakat must be handed over to the poor person or his representative, but it is permissible for the Zakat payer to build a house for the poor person directly if that is more beneficial for him.
