The answer

If a woman sees yellowish or brownish discharge during her menstrual period, it is considered menstruation, even if it appears before seeing blood. Once menstruation ceases, ghusl (ritual bath) becomes obligatory. If the yellowish or brownish discharge reappears within the menstrual period, it is considered menstruation; otherwise, it is not.

If ghusl is not performed after the cessation of the yellowish and brownish discharge (because it was considered menstruation), and only performed after the cessation of blood, then the prayers performed during that period must be re-offered due to the absence of the purity condition. Some scholars believe that re-offering prayers is not obligatory due to ignorance of the ruling, and there is no harm in adopting this view to alleviate hardship, especially since some scholars do not consider yellowish or brownish discharge as menstruation at all or after seeing purity.
