Is the yellowish discharge that appears after the white discharge a menstrual bleeding that necessitates ghusl, especially if it occurs during the usual period of menstruation, given the differing fatwas regarding the consideration of yellowish discharge after purification?

The majority of scholars hold that yellowish or brownish discharge (Ṣufrah and Kudrah) is considered menstruation if a woman sees it during her customary days, regardless of whether it was preceded by blood, whether it was connected to the menstrual flow or not, and whether she saw purity before it by dryness or by the white discharge (al-qaṣṣah al-bayḍāʾ). If a woman sees yellowish or brownish discharge after the cessation of blood at the completion of her customary period and after seeing purity, it is not considered menstruation according to the Hanbalis, and this is the most authoritative opinion (al-qawl al-muftā bihi), supported by the sayings of most of the Salaf.
