Should someone who has not performed Hajj but intends to offer a sacrifice shave his hair?
If the first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah begin and you intend to offer a sacrifice, the one offering the sacrifice should not shave or remove anything from his hair or skin, because the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "When the ten days [of Dhul-Hijjah] begin and one of you intends to offer a sacrifice, he should not touch his hair or skin." Shaving hair on the Day of Sacrifice (Yawm an-Nahr) is only for the pilgrim and not for anyone else.
