What is the ruling on shaving hair during the first ten days of Dhu al-Hijjah when there is an Udhiyah?

The jurists differed on the ruling of taking from the hair and skin for the one intending to sacrifice (al-mudhahhi) if the ten days (of Dhu al-Hijjah) have begun, and this is according to three opinions:

1. Preferability (Istihbab): Al-Shafi'i and Sa'id ibn al-Musayyib hold that refraining from taking from the hair and skin is preferable (mustahabb), and doing so is disliked (makruh) but not forbidden (haram). 2. Obligation (Wujub): Ahmad ibn Hanbal and Ishaq ibn Rahawayh hold that taking from the hair and skin is forbidden (haram), likening it to the pilgrim in a state of ihram. 3. Not Disliked: Abu Hanifa and Malik hold that it is not a Sunnah and is not disliked, citing that the person is in a state other than that of one in ihram.

According to the opinion of dislike, the dislike is removed due to necessity, so it is permissible to shave hair if necessity calls for it.
