Must I distribute the sum I vowed to donate from the sale of two bracelets, given that my husband bought the two bracelets and then returned them to me, and am I sinful for delaying the fulfillment of the vow?

The gold given by the husband to his wife is considered her property, and she has the right to dispose of it without her husband's permission. The vow to give it as charity to the poor, seeking Allah's forgiveness, must be fulfilled according to the majority of scholars, due to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, saying: "Whoever vows to obey Allah, let him obey Him." The fact that the vower hopes for reward does not make the vow conditional. A conditional vow is an obligation to obey in exchange for a blessing or warding off an affliction. If the gold is sold, its price must be distributed to the poor immediately if possible. Purchasing gold after selling it to the wife and then gifting it to her is not considered retracting the charity. However, if the wife does not own the gold, her vow regarding it is not binding.
