What is the legitimate Islamic solution for the problem of obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) that causes doubt about the completion of tasks and the deservingness of salary, and is ignoring these obsessions a legitimate excuse for which there is no sin?

The solution to getting rid of obsessive whisperings (waswas) is to cast them away, disregard them, and completely ignore them, because Satan is an enemy who seeks to corrupt. Ignoring his whisperings is the religious ruling for which a Muslim is rewarded, for Allah Almighty says: "Indeed, Satan is an enemy to you; so take him as an enemy. He only invites his party to be among the companions of the Blaze."
