Is the expiation for breaking a vow fasting three days, no matter how great the sin?

Breaking the aforementioned covenant is sinful, and its perpetrator must repent to Allah Almighty. He also owes an expiation for breaking an oath — according to the more preponderant opinion — which is: feeding ten poor persons, or clothing them, or freeing a believing slave. If he cannot find any of these, then he must fast for three days. The expiation by fasting is not valid except after being unable to feed, clothe, or free a slave.
