Is fasting three days for a broken oath sufficient if one becomes able to feed ten needy persons after the fasting?

Whoever is unable to offer expiation for an oath using the three optional means (freeing a slave, feeding the poor, or clothing them), and instead fasts for three days and completes them, his obligation is discharged, and he is not required to revert to expiating by one of the other means. This is based on the Almighty’s saying: "But whoever finds none, then a fast of three days. That is the expiation for your oaths when you have sworn." Scholars differed concerning one who began fasting but then became able to perform one of the other expiations before completing the fast. The majority of scholars held that he is not obligated to revert to the other means, while others held that he is.
