Does exceeding one minute in washing the face to ensure water reaches the entire face invalidate continuous performance (al-Mawalah)?

A slight delay to ensure water has covered a limb, or due to engaging in a Sunnah like interlacing the beard and fingers, or to remove doubt or obsessive thoughts, does not invalidate the sequence (muwalat) in ablution. This is permissible; in fact, it is obligatory to ensure water reaches all parts.
