Does a divorce take effect with the words "Go to your family and you are divorced" if the intention was "If you go to your family, you are divorced," and there was no intention of divorce?

As long as you did not intend to finalize the divorce with that phrase, but rather intended it as a threat, then no divorce has occurred by it, provided your wife did not go to her family, as stated in Fath al-Qadeer by Kamal ibn al-Humam. It is advisable to avoid threatening divorce during marital disputes and to exercise wisdom.
