What is the legal ruling regarding someone who says to his wife: "O adulteress," or "O my fornicatoress," or "Come, let me commit adultery with you," with the intention of pleasure and enjoyment during intercourse? And does divorce occur if the husband says "O my divorcée" and the wife says "O my divorcé," intending divorce?

It is impermissible for a man to address his wife with explicit terms of slander (qadhf), and the prescribed punishment (hadd) is to be carried out against the one who utters them if the wife demands it. Such words are considered obscenity and vulgarity, which are forbidden by Islamic law, even if he did not intend to insult or if the wife was pleased to hear them. Furthermore, the couple's enjoyment of such words is considered a deviation from innate human nature (fitra). As for a man saying to his wife, "O my divorcee," intending divorce, divorce occurs thereby. But if he intends to inform her about a previous divorce, then divorce does not occur.
