What is the ruling on giving zakat to a middle-income family for them to travel to Ta'if for leisure, then to Makkah for Umrah, given that they do not have sufficient funds, and what is the amount of that if permissible?

It is not permissible to give to the poor from for travel with the intent of leisure; because Zakat is for the poor and the needy to meet their basic needs, and travel for leisure is not among them. Nor are they given from the share of the wayfarer, as they are residents in their own countries and have not traveled.
