What is the ruling on disrespecting paper on which are written the names of the prayers, the times of the Adhan, "Al-Azhar Al-Sharif," the word "Al-Iman," the image of a mosque, and the logo of Al-Azhar?

The symbols and sanctities of Allah must be revered. This includes everything that has been glorified in religion, such as the Quran and the Sunnah. Part of revering them is not to desecrate papers on which Quranic verses, hadiths, or words of faith are written, and likewise, images of mosques, which must be protected from desecration.

If throwing away pictures of mosques constitutes desecration of the mosque, then it is forbidden and may even amount to disbelief. However, if disposing of papers on which the name or image of a mosque is written is not intended as desecration, then it is better to avoid it and dispose of these papers by tearing or burning them.

University logos, if they are devoid of revered religious words or symbols, there is no harm in discarding them, as they symbolize the institution itself, not its religious content.

Accordingly, there is no harm in discarding papers on which sacred content is written, provided they are disposed of properly, such as by burning or burying them. As for what has no religious sanctity, there is no harm in discarding it.
