What is the ruling on a husband touching or embracing his wife during the daytime in Ramadan?

A fasting person must avoid everything that arouses their desires. It is forbidden to fondle one's wife if it is highly probable that the fast will be invalidated by the emission of semen or sexual intercourse, or the emission of pre-seminal fluid (madhy) - according to the view that holds the fast invalid by it. If semen is not emitted from either spouse, the fast is valid, but it is invalidated by its emission. As for expiation, it is not obligatory except for sexual intercourse.
