What is the text of the Prophetic Hadith that indicates the prohibition of birth control?

There is no specific Hadith prohibiting birth control. However, using it contradicts prophetic traditions that encourage having many children and discourage marrying barren women. Examples include his (peace be upon him) saying: "Marry the affectionate, prolific woman, for I will be proud of your numbers before the nations on the Day of Resurrection." And his saying: "Marriage is my Sunnah, and whoever does not follow my Sunnah is not of me. Marry, for I will be proud of your numbers before the nations."
