Is it permissible for a father to donate his adult children's money without their permission?

If the money belongs to the father, he may dispose of it as he wishes, including donating it or giving it as charity on behalf of his children. However, if the money belongs to adult, mature children, the father is not permitted to dispose of it except with their permission. Nevertheless, he is allowed to benefit from it in case of need, due to the Prophet’s (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: “You and your wealth belong to your father.”
