The answer

"Wahhabism": A term used by the opponents of Sheikh Muhammad ibn Abd al-Wahhab for his call to monotheism, the abandonment of polytheistic practices, and the adherence to the of the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him. Their aim in doing so is to alienate people from this call. However, this term has not harmed the call; rather, it has increased its spread and adherence to it.
