ما هي قصة "الوهابية"؟ ولماذا تحاربها معظم البلاد؟
Wahhabism is a title given to the call of the reforming Sheikh Muhammad ibn Abd al-Wahhab, may Allah have mercy on him. His call has had praiseworthy effects and great efforts in spreading Islam, reviving the Sunnah, and eradicating innovation (bid'ah), which indicates his sincerity and devotion. This call is fought against because inviting to the truth does not align with the desires of most people, so they harbor hostility towards it, as Allah Almighty said: "And most of the people, however keen you may be, will not be believers," and "Or do you think that most of them hear or reason? They are not except like livestock. Rather, they are [even more] astray in [their] way," and "Similarly, there did not come to those before them any messenger except that they said, 'A magician or a madman!'" And Waraqah ibn Nawfal said to the Prophet, peace be upon him: "No one has ever come with something similar to what you have brought except that he was met with hostility."
