What is the ruling on selling prepaid internet cards, whether the sale is in the same currency as the card or in another currency?

The contract between the issuer and the buyer is a currency exchange contract, which requires immediate possession (taqabud) and equality if the currency is the same. The fees charged by the issuer are permissible: 1. Exchange fees: Permissible if the currencies differ, but equality is required if they are the same. 2. Annual subscription fees: Permissible because they are in exchange for the service of issuing and renewing the card. 3. Discount percentage from the merchant: Permissible because it is in exchange for the marketing service provided by the issuer to the merchant.
Accordingly, the card, as described, is permissible, and there is no objection to subscribing to it.
