What is the ruling on one who rejoices at the death of our master Umar ibn al-Khattab - may Allah be pleased with him - and expresses that by jumping?

Umar ibn al-Khattab was martyred in the cause of Allah. His killing was due to his killer's hatred for Islam, the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), and his nation, and out of support for disbelief. Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah affirms that Umar's enmity towards disbelievers and hypocrites was stronger than Ali's, and that Umar's impact in supporting Islam was greater. For this reason, the disbeliever killed Umar out of hatred for Islam, whereas the one who killed Ali believed that this was out of love for Allah and His Messenger, even though he was misguided. Rejoicing at Umar's death is hypocrisy, and hating him is a sign of apostasy and tyranny. It is obligatory to love the Companions of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) and not to go to extremes in loving any of them or disavowing any of them. For loving them is religion, faith, and righteousness, and hating them is disbelief, hypocrisy, and tyranny.
