Is it necessary to wash a room and its contents if an insect that was in the bathroom fell on them, and it is feared that it carried impurity?

If a person sees flies or insects in the restrooms and then sees them in their bedroom, they are not obligated to wash their clothes or body. This is because the default state of a place is purity unless impurity is certain. Even if the insect carries a small amount of impurity, it does not render what it lands on impure, because such impurity is slight and difficult to guard against. The Sharia has overlooked it to remove hardship, in accordance with the Almighty’s saying: (And He has not placed upon you in religion any difficulty) and (Allah intends for you ease and does not intend for you hardship). Scholars have mentioned that the trace of fly excrement is excused.
