Can a sorcerer bring a person and commit indecency with them without their knowledge?

1 min readAlso available in العربية

The sacred texts and the words of scholars have touched upon the possibility of magic causing illnesses and death, but there is no detailed mention of a sorcerer controlling a person's behavior and moving them against their will. Nevertheless, there is no intellectual or religious impediment to such an occurrence. To prove that such a thing has happened in a specific case, experts must testify that the individual's condition is that of someone afflicted by magic, and that the perpetrator is known for practicing sorcery. The one examining these proofs must be among the qualified people of knowledge and religion. If this is proven, then the legal responsibility is lifted from the bewitched person, because they are in the position of someone compelled by irresistible coercion or someone who has lost their mind, both of which are conditions for the lifting of legal responsibility.
