Is it permissible to perform the uncompleted ritual for one who dies after the first stage of pilgrim’s disengagement (al-tahallul al-asghar) and before completing the circumambulation of Ifadah (tawaf al-ifadah) and the ritual of Sa'y, based on the hadith of the man whose mount broke his neck? And is it permissible for his discerning (mumayyiz) brother to perform it on his behalf, or must the one performing it be an adult?

If the son dies after reaching puberty and Hajj becomes obligatory upon him, then what completes the remaining Hajj and Umrah must be taken from his wealth, as mentioned by Ibn Qudamah. If he had already performed some rituals, then it is sufficient to complete the rest on his behalf. It is permissible for someone to volunteer to complete the rituals on his behalf, provided that person is an adult, of sound mind, and has already performed Hajj for himself. However, if he dies before reaching puberty, Hajj is not obligatory upon him, and therefore, it is not obligatory to complete it on his behalf. Nevertheless, it is permissible to perform Hajj on his behalf voluntarily, even by his discerning brother with the permission of his guardian.
