Is money earned from a previous job at a tourism company, which involved lying to and deceiving customers, considered ill-gotten (haram) wealth, and what must be done to purify this money?

If you have wrongfully taken money from someone, you must return it to them or seek their forgiveness, based on the Prophet Muhammad's (peace be upon him) sayings: "It is not permissible to take anything from a Muslim's property unless he gives it willingly," and "Whatever is taken by hand must be returned," and "Whoever has wronged his brother concerning his honor or anything else, let him seek his forgiveness today before there is no Dinar or Dirham." General forgiveness is not sufficient; rather, the specific right and the amount taken must be detailed. If you cannot reach the rightful owners, then give the money in charity on their behalf. If you do not know the exact amount, then give what you believe is sufficient to clear your conscience, as Allah Almighty says: "So fear Allah as much as you are able."
