Is working as a tour guide for foreigners who drink alcohol and receiving a commission from shops considered unlawful (haram)?

Working in tourist guidance is not devoid of objectionable and legally prohibited matters, so it is not permissible unless one is able to avoid them. If the work is permissible, and the commission is on something permissible, there is no harm in taking it. However, if the work is not permissible, or if the commission is on things that involve objectionable matters, then it is not permissible to take it, due to the saying of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him: "Indeed, when Allah Almighty prohibits eating something, He prohibits its price." So, whatever Allah has forbidden benefiting from, its sale and the consumption of its price are forbidden, and every forbidden thing, taking compensation for it is forbidden.
